Join us for pizza and fun making encouragement cards for homeless teens. We will tie fleece blankets and wrap them to be given as gifts to those living at Hope House and assemble a freezer meal.

Open House Foundation was established by Westwood Community Church. They opened a home located on their church property for homeless youth, ages 10-17, called Hope House to meet the emergency needs of teens in crisis. Hope House provides a safe place for teens to find shelter and an opportunity for them to get back on their feet. Homeless Teens coming from the SW Metro area include Waconia, Chaska, and Chanhassen.

Please bring snack items to donate to Hope House from the following list:

  • Protein or Granola Bars (Peanut-Free)
  • Individually Packaged Chips or Crackers
  • Cereal (Teen Friendly Flavors)
  • Instant Oatmeal Packets
  • Hot Chocolate Mix
