Join us on October 3rd for LRC's Marriage Tune-up. Whether your marriage is thriving, going through a difficult season, or somewhere in between, this workshop gives you an opportunity to step away from everyday life and focus intentionally on your relationship. Created for Connection MN is based on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a highly researched approach to couples therapy developed by Dr. Sue Johnson. The workshop integrates the science of attachment and emotional connection with a Christian understanding of love, commitment, grace, and relationship.
What You'll Experience
Throughout the workshop, you'll learn why couples get caught in recurring patterns of conflict or disconnection. Plus, learn how to change those patterns. The weekend combines:
• Engaging presentations and practical teaching
• Video examples and demonstrations
• Seven structured conversations with your spouse
• Opportunities to better understand your own relationship patterns
• Tools for strengthening trust, emotional connection, and intimacy
• Christian teaching, Scripture, and prayer
Much of the workshop is spent talking privately with your spouse, using guided
exercises designed to help you apply what you're learning directly to your own
relationship. You will not be asked to share personal details about your marriage with the
group. This is a marriage enrichment workshop, not group therapy.
Who Is It For?
Created for Connection is for couples who want to strengthen their relationship—whether you already have a healthy marriage and want to grow even closer or you're experiencing a season of conflict, distance, or disconnection. You don't need to wait until your marriage is struggling to invest in it. Consider giving your relationship something that's increasingly difficult to find: uninterrupted time to slow down, understand each other, and reconnect.
