What better way to celebrate Jesus’ birth than with children singing His praise! Children, ages 2-12, are invited to join us in worshipping Jesus with two Christmas songs during both worship services on Sunday, December 14th. Children will sing towards the end of both worship services. Practices begin this Sunday at 10:10 a.m. The video links provided below show the motions for each song, so you can have your child practice at home. We will practice at church between the worship services, where kids will sing with motion using the recording of the music we will use during the December 14th worship service.
Mark your calendars for the following practice dates/times/location:
November 16, November 23, December 7 @ 10:10 a.m. (Elementary Room)
December 13 @ 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary with the worship team (very important - rehearsal for kids to know what to expect on stage)
December 14 @ 9:20 a.m. to practice one last time in the elementary room before lining up to sing towards the end of the 9:00 a.m. worship service. Children will attend Kid’s Ministry as usual after the first service but finish early to line up to sing towards the end of the 10:30 service. Feel free to invite family and friend to either service!
Adult volunteers are needed to assist with gathering nativity costumes or making simple costumes for sheep and shepherds. Please let us know if your children would like to participate in the advent readings or prayer for December 14th. They will get the script ahead of time to practice at home.
