$100,000 Challenge

We are happy to announce that Living Rock Church received a large financial gift of $100,000! Praise the Lord for this unexpected and generous gift!

The elders believe the best use of this $100,000 gift is to pay down the debt on our new building. Applying the gift now to our mortgage will take 5 years off our loan, it will lower our monthly payment by $650, and it will save the church $500,000 dollars in interest over the life of the loan (at our current rate).

May this gift spur our body on in our end-of-year giving. If we meet our General Fund budget by the end of the year, we will apply the entire $100,000 gift to reduce debt. NOTE: We are currently about $40,000 behind budget with about 4 weeks to go.
