Our community outreach focus for the month of March is contributing to the NYA Food Shelf. We have participated for the past 10 years. Besides a donation from the Benevolent Fund authorized by the Diaconate, we would like to encourage each LRC member family to fill a grocery bag. Prepared bags with instructions will be available Sunday, March 10th. Return bags by March 24th to be taken to the food shelf. We hope you’ll join us as we seek to bless the NYA community!
The 6-week spring Bible study of the Book of Galatians begins Monday, March 25 and concludes on May 6 (excluding Easter Monday). We will meet 6:30-8 p.m. at The Haven (memory care unit at Peace Village), 600 Railroad Drive, NYA. Study books ($5.00) and a sign up sheet will be available on Sundays at the Connections Table. Lynnet Youngblood has graciously offered to facilitate our study. We will be using Kay Arthur’s inductive Bible study guide “Free From Bondage God’s Way”.

“And this is my prayer, that your love may abound more and more [LOVE] in knowledge and depth of insight so that you may be able to discern what is best [LEARN], and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ [GROW] filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ [GIVE] – to the glory and praise of God.” – Phil. 1:9-11 (NIV)
