Our Flavor

Being new to any situation can be a bit frightening. We want to take all the guess work out of your first visit to Living Rock so its as relaxing and comfortable as possible. Here's what our average Sunday looks like:

At the Door:
When you first arrive you'll meet up with some people who are there specifically to make you feel at home. If you're feeling lost, track someone down and they'll point you in the right direction. Since our church meets in a school you'll follow a hallway to get into the center of the building.

In the lobby:
When you reach the lobby you will find several stations you may want to stop by including an information table with brochures and other church information, a coffee table with free coffee and donuts, and a book table with various resources for sale. Feel free to look around, meet some folks, or continue on into the gym where our services are held.

In the Gym:
As you enter the back of the gym you can grab a bulletin off the table and help yourself to the free sermon CDs then continue on to the seating area. We have two services each Sunday, one at 9:00 and one at 10:30 a.m. They include band-led worship, a teaching time led by our Senior Pastor, Jon Wall, and other elements like video, prayer, missions moments & faith stories. Come as you are whether that's in blue jeans or a suit - we're not about appearance we're about actively engaging Christ and His teaching in our day to day lives. The second Sunday of each month we take communion together at the conclusion of the service. We practice "open communion" which is a fancy way of saying that if you follow Christ you are welcomed to take communion no matter what your church background is.
