Adult Sunday school is back on during the 10:30 am service! Bill Dent will be leading 4 more classes in March exploring the following topics/characters: On 3/7 Daniel, 3/14 The Fiery Furnace, 3/21 Daniel and 3/28 Jonah.

March is Minnesota Food Share Month! According to MN Food Share's most recent Hunger Fact Sheet, over 900,000 Minnesotans live in households that are struggling to put food on the table. 56% of food shelf visitors are families with children, and 20% are senior citizens. Since 2000, the number of Minnesota children living in extreme poverty has doubled. There is an amazing ministry opportunity right here in Norwood-Young America! During the month of March, Living Rock Church will be collecting non-perishable food and toiletry items for families in our local community. (Items can be placed in the basket on the Join-Serve-Connect table.) Cash is also being accepted. Please make checks payable to SW Carver County Food Shelf. All donations will be given to the NYA food shelf - and even one can of fruit, box of macaroni and cheese or jar of peanut butter can make a difference!
Diamonds in the Rock Women's Ministry...
There will be two ...In the Kitchen classes on back-to-back Saturdays this month in Deb Chinander's kitchen from 9:30-11 am! Cost is only $2 per person. It is important that you register ahead of time for these classes. Thank you!
On Saturday, March 20th Lynnet Youngblood will demonstrate "Once-a-Month Cooking." Would you like to take some stress out of your busy schedule? Would you like to be able to entertain on a moment's notice? Would you like to bless someone else with a meal just when they need it the most? Do you long to eat healthier, same time with meal preparation, and waste less food? If so, please join us as we learn the benefits of "Once-a-Month" or "2-week" cooking. There will be jewels in this class that can all benefit from.
On March 27th the topic is "Homemade Cheesecakes" led by Jasmine Riedel. Jasmine will teach us everything we ever wanted to know about making homemade cheesecakes. Step aside Cheesecake Factory! Ladies, it's time to get ready for our 3rd Annual Trash to Treasure Trek on Saturday April 24th! Come scavenger hunt at garage sales with us or find your own treasures at the city-wide Jonathan Garage Sales in Chaska. We will meet at Caribou for our jump start at 8 am and conclude later at a neighborhood restaurant. Sign yourself up or find a team of four and sign-up as a team at the Join.Serve.Connect table. Sunday school takes place 10:30 - 11:30 am during the second service. Sr. High meets in The Third Space at Suite #306 beside the school with Jeff and Andrea Merboth. Jr. High meets with Niki Ginther in Room #114 at the elementary school.

Men's Breakfast Thursday mornings at 6:30 at the McDonald's in Norwood.
Saturday Morning Men's Group 7:30 to 9am at the NYA Pizza Ranch. 5 weeks on 3/6, 3/13, 3/20, 3/27 and 4/3 then 2 weeks off 4/10, and 4/17. Join us for Fellowship, Short devotional and Discussion.
