Wish You Were Here...Wednesday July, 28th Teens are welcome to join us for a simple meal at The Farm. Students can catch up with friends and meet new people over supper and then enjoy an evening of teaching, fun and worship. This week's teaching: Being a Peacemaker: Confession Brings Freedom. We'll start each Wednesday at 6 pm and end at 9 pm. Hope to see you.

Diamonds in the Rock Women's Ministry...
...In the Kitchen summer session on Canning and Preserving. Monday evening, August 2nd at 6:30 in Carla Kummer's kitchen in Norwood. In this class you will learn how to can tomatoes and fruits. We will also be making pickles and jams. Let's get our bountiful summer harvest preserved for the winter months in a way that is healthy for our families. A Running Club for Women Join us for another run/walk next Saturday, 8/7! Meet at the Flower Mill in Norwood-Young America at 7:30 am. You can walk with friends, or run with friends. You choose! Everybody goes with somebody. We'll go for about 30-45 minutes then you're free to join others for coffee at The Millhouse Pantry or get on with your day. Hope to see you there! There will be an Informational Homeschool Workshop on Saturday, August 14th in Hutchinson, MN. This is a great opportunity to learn more about homeschooling as an educational choice. The morning topic is titled, Considering Homeschooling and will be from 9a-12noon. The afternoon topic is from 1-4pm, Finishing the Journey: Homeschooling through High School. The speakers are from Mache, Minnesota Association of Christian Home Educators. Sample curriculum will be available to browse through and parents from the local Crow River Homeschool Group will be there to answer questions. A snack will be served. The workshop will be held at Riverside Assembly of God Church, 20924 Hwy 7 W. You may register in advance through www.mache.org or the day of the event at the door. The cost is $10/individual or married couple for each seminar.
